About Bjelasnica, Bosnia:- Bjelasnica Bosnia is a mountain in Central Bosnia and Herzegovinia and is found directly in the South-West of Sarajevo which also borders Mt.Igman. The Bjelasrica is the tallest peak and it is the whole mountain group which is called by it’s name. The entire mountain range was site of extensive combat during 1992-95 Seige of Sarejavo and earlier the areas pose a high mine risk but now it is popular with mountain bikers and it is also a frequent base for the paragliders. The mountain’s name has been pulled out from the root bijel which also means “White”. The geological location of the Bjelasnica a part of Dinaric Alps mountain which is made of secondary and tertiary sedimentary rock.
